Horsehair Pottery

Horsehair pottery is created by applying layers of clay slip to the surface of the pot and then polishing until satin smooth after a complicated process involving varying temperatures. The horsehair and feathers carbonize and create abstract patterns. Each pot is personally signed by the artist.
